We Paid, But Never Saw the Work: Checkatrade Fail.
My story with Checkatrade was a complete shambles. I hired a trader through their service to handle some vital home repairs. They appeared reliable at first, but it resulted in a appalling ordeal.
Even though I paid the full amount upfront, the work completely vanished into thin air. Communication ceased. It's been weeks, and I'm still left with a gaping hole where my sense of security once was.
The platform itself has been unhelpful throughout this whole process. They provided empty promises. It feels like I've been taken advantage of.
